temmet was built for one thing: showing what a meeting is costing in real time. The mechanics generalise because every field is free text or a number, every saved session is rows of duration and cost, and every template is a setup you can repeat in one click. The recipes below are nine workflows that fit those mechanics without changing a line of code.

does your workflow fit?

If it has these three things, temmet probably fits:

One or more participants with an associated per-hour rate (cost or earnings — the meter doesn't care which).
A start and an end, with a clear definition of what counts as a session.
A history you'd want to look at later — searchable, sortable, exportable.

If two out of three are true, you can still make it work. Single-participant workflows just have one row at hourly rate; always-on workflows just don't end the session until the day is done.

the canon

Meeting cost — the original use case. What is this meeting costing the company per minute, total, and per participant.
Cost of delay — every standup, every blocker call, treated as a session. The history view becomes a meeting-spend budget for the sprint.

billing

Freelance billing — a billable-hour timer with a clean closing flourish. Roles become client names; CSV export becomes your timesheet.
Therapy and coaching — session billing without a SaaS. One template per recurring client, history as your books.
Tutoring — subject-keyed templates per student, per topic. History tells you where your hours actually went.
Contractor on-site — start when you arrive, stop when you leave, label with the address. Print the report at the end of the month.

spaces and sessions

Coworking and rooms — templates as room types ("hot desk @ £10/hr", "studio @ £40/hr"). Each booking is a session.
Inverse earnings — same meter, opposite framing. The rising number is what you're making, not what you're spending.
